Saturday Rome and Floyd County will honor all who have worn our nation’s uniform.
The annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony will begin Saturday at 11 a.m. at Myrtle Hill.
The Marine Corps. League will be joined by American Legion Post 5 and Post 52 and the Exchange Club of Rome to honor the 100th anniversary of the burial of Charles Graves at the cemetery.
There will also be the replica of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the ceremony.
Chaplain David Thornton will be the speaker.
