A 19-year-old Rome man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at an apartment on Darlington Way that occurred Thursday afternoon.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Avant Kareem Milner hit a 53-year-old man over the head with a gun and took the victim’s wallet.
Milner then fled on foot.
He is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Milner is also charged with participation in a criminal street gang, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act in connection with an incident on July 14.
According to the arrest warrants:
Milner conspired with another man to sell illegal narcotics.
