City of Rome Georgia Press Release –
The Rome Engineering Services Department would like the public to know the South Rome Bridge will have scheduled lane closures on January 29, 30, and 31, 2024 to allow for bridge inspections. This work will not require closure of the bridge, but will require the closure of one outside lane on the bridge to allow for bridge inspection equipment. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times; lane closures will be scheduled for “off-peak” traffic flow.
