Man arrested for cocaine possession, public indecency

A Garden Lakes man is facing drug charges following his arrest Sunday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

25-year-old Ronaldo Campus was caught urinating on the side of the highway at Ga. 1 and Ga. 20.

He was then found with a white powder, suspected to be cocaine and suspected marijuana.

Campos is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and public indecency.

Man arrested for making threats

A 29-year-old New Jersey man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Sunday on five counts of terroristic threats and acts, and a single count of driving under the influence.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Rafael Campos-Fuentes was stopped on Georgia Loop 1 where he threatened bodily harm and to kill the victims.

Report: Man found passed out in vehicle arrested for drugs

A Rome man was arrested during a traffic stop on Cartersville Highway at the East Rome Bypass over the weekend.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

A vehicle driven by 52-year-old Devon Franklin Jones was stopped at the traffic light through multiple cycles.

Jones, who was found passed out in the driver’s seat, was found with over an ounce of suspected cocaine and a firearm inside the vehicle, along with an open container of alcohol and close to $1,400 in cash.

He also refused to get out of the vehicle and later refused to stay in a hospital room as he was being medically cleared.

Jones is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, obstruction of officers, open container, DUI, failure to obey a traffic control device and a probation violation.

Man accused of accessing someone else’s Cash App

A 33-year-old Rome man has been arrested on charges of identity fraud, financial transaction card fraud, and criminal receipt of goods that were fraudulently obtained.

According to the arrest warrants:

Christopher Lloyd Rhoten accessed someone else’s Cash App and transferred $75 into his account.

The incident occurred on December 5.

Woman charged with theft by receiving

A 22-year-old Rome woman has been arrested on a felony warrant charging her with theft by receiving stolen property.

According to the warrant:

Serena Ramos was in possession of a 1989 Cadillac that she knew or should have known had been stolen.

Ramos sold the vehicle on Facebook Marketplace for $700.

The actual value of the vehicle is estimated at around $1,500.
