Floyd County Public Animal Welfare Services is back open and with some good news.
The facility closed as a precaution after a dog exhibited possible symptoms of distemper.
Tests were run and those results have all come back negative for distemper and other contagious diseases.
To celebrate P.A.W.S. is offering free adoptions today and tomorrow.
