A relatively light agenda for Rome City Commissioners Monday night.
During the regular meeting that begins at 6:30 pm, public hearings will be conducted for a rezoning from Multi-Family Residential to Suburban Residential for property on Garden Lakes Parkway and a special use permit for a duplex at 704 East 17th Street.
Second reading of an ordinance to close a Portion of Alto Street is also on the agenda.
Prior to the regular meeting at 6 pm, commissioners will recognize Black History Month honorees and Bridge Builders during a special presentation.
The commission caucus starts at 5 pm.
