Warrants: Woman stole $20,000 from bank account

A Savannah woman is accused of stealing $20,000 from a Rome woman’s bank account.

According to arrest warrants and Floyd County Jail records:

31-year-old Tomisha Lashan Heath used a computer or computer service to access the victim’s account eleven times.

Heath created and altered information regarding the victim’s financial records by adding her own name to the victim’s signature card allowing her to access the funds.

Heath is charged with felony theft by taking and eleven counts each of computer theft, computer trespass, and computer forgery.
