The Rome Alcohol Control Commission will consider extending the approval of a new Beer, Wine, & Liquor Pouring License request at Peachy Pub, at 325 Broad Street, when it meets on Monday.
The license was originally approved in September of last year.
The ACC may extend a previously approved alcohol license request for a specific period, like six months, if a request is made within the original approval timeframe and the commission deems it appropriate.
In the past, many establishments have failed to be successful at that location due to the inability to meet Rome’s food/drink ratio or other operational obstacles.
Also, on Monday, the ACC will consider a new Beer and Wine Package License request for Quick Quest at 407 N Division Street, as well as Beer Package License requests for the Food Mart at 2000 N. Broad Street, 1808 FFO Mart LLC at 1808 Dean Street, Garden Lakes Food & Beverage at 2022 Redmond Circle, 101 Food Mart Inc. at 1416 N Broad Street, and 1439 N Broad LLC.
The ACC meeting begins at 5 p.m. at Rome City Hall.
