A North Rome is facing multiple charges following his arrest over the weekend.
According to an arrest warrant and other Floyd County Jail records:
21-year-old Jamarius Rashad Hoskins pulled a gun out of his vehicle and waved it around on North Fifth Avenue on Thursday of last week.
He also threatened a man, with the threat being captured on a dash cam video.
Hospkins stopped his vehicle in the middle of the roadway to block the victim’s path.
He drove away from the incident location, making an improper turn and traveling over the double yellow line and into oncoming traffic while trying to pass another vehicle.
Then on Saturday, Hoskins was caught speeding with a brake light out in the area of Highway 411 and Dodd Boulevard.
Hoskins was found in possession of three THC vape pens and resisted, having to be forced into a patrol vehicle by two officers.
Hoskins is charged with aggravated assault; terroristic threats and acts; aggressive driving; reckless conduct; obstruction of law enforcement; improper turn, stopping, standing and parking prohibited; three counts of possession of marijuana or THC oil, and a brake light violation.
