Man accused of neglecting dog
A Lindale man was arrested at his Avenue C home on Monday on a felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
30-year-old Jedidiah Anthony Weiland Rhodes failed to provide adequate food and water for a dog, which was severely emaciated and bony with generalized muscle atrophy.
The dog also had a voracious appetite and a severe flea infestation.
Teen accused of damaging vehicle window
A South Rome teen was arrested Monday at his Branham Avenue home on a felony charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
17-year-old Aden Ingram broke the rear window glass of the victim’s vehicle, causing more than $700 in damage.
He admitted to sending a message on Instagram to a witness, confessing to the crime.
Ingram is charged with 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.
Paulding County man arrested on drug charges
A Dallas, Georgia, man was arrested on Monday on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
56-year-old Kenneth Scott Gamel was stopped by police at the Loop at Calhoun Road, and was found with a substance believed to be meth.
Gamel is also charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license and driving in violation of license class.
