A third arrest has been made in an armed robbery that occurred on May 29 at a North Rome convenience store.
According to the arrest warrants:
55-year-old Kevin Jeriod Heard of Rome drove the getaway vehicle when 60-year-old Lamar Keith Dublin of Rome entered the Marathon on North Broad Street,, pulled out a long gun or other offensive weapon, and forced the clerk to give him money.
Dublin also grabbed the clerk by the hair and shirt, forcing her behind the cash register.
Heard also received payment for his role in the robbery.
In addition to being a party to the crime of robbery, Heard is also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
A third person, 36-year-old Cherieshia Sharnese Hayes, is also facing charges in the robbery.
