An 18-year-old from Cedartown has been arrested in the death of an infant that occurred in March on Leafmore Road in West Rome.
According to the arrest warrants:
Trenton Daniel Rittenhouse violently shook the victim, causing internal hemorrhaging and a rib injury.
The infant later succumbed to the injuries.
Rittenhouse is charged with felony murder and aggravated battery.
He was arrested Thursday on the felony warrants and remains in the Floyd County Jail without bond.
