A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Highway 41 in Bartow County on Wednesday night.
According to the Georgia State Patrol:
The initial investigation revealed that a black Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling south in the right lane.
The black motorcycle struck a deer in the roadway.
The impact caused the driver of the motorcycle to fall into the left southbound.
A gray Tesla was traveling south on Highway 41 in the left lane and struck the driver of the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries on scene.
