Floyd County Police responded to a ‘shots fired’ call on Garden Avenue in Lindale on Wednesday.
According to the incident report:
At least four 9mm shell casings were located at the scene, and a house had been struck multiple times.
The two victims who had run into the house told officers they did not know who had shot at them.
They reported that two masked men, one slender and one heavyset, were hiding behind a Nissan, and when the victims got out of their Jeep, the men, one of whom was wearing a sweatsuit, started shooting at them.
One of the victims stated he ran inside the house the moment he saw a green laser light pointing at him.
