Man accused of assaulting, threatening woman
A Rome man was arrested at his Surrey Trail home on Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, and battery.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
21-year-old Cody Lane Duck punched a 19-year-old female in the face and then picked up a knife.
He pointed the knife at the victim and threatened to kill her.
The report states that Duck and the victim are in a relationship and reside together.
Woman arrested during the execution of a search warrant
A 69-year-old East Rome woman was jailed on Tuesday on a felony count of possession of synthetic marijuana.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Latonia Marie Zachery was found with synthetic marijuana and a smoking device during the execution of a search warrant on East 16th Street.
She is also charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
