A 22-year-old Rome man has been sentenced to life with the possibility of parole after pleading guilty to a murder that occurred in North Rome last year.
Nigel Oliver Hall entered the plea on Monday in Floyd Superior Court.
On August 27, 2024, Rome Police responded to the 300 block of Reynolds Street and found 56-year-old Brian Jeffrey Haynes of Rome dead inside a vehicle.
He had been shot in the head.
Two other people were on the other side of Haynes when the shots were fired.
One of the bullets struck a child safety seat.
