On the afternoon of June 5th, 2024, the Floyd County Police Department arrested Ronnie Antonio Martin on multiple charges after he was involved in a domestic dispute at his residence on Blacks Bluff Road.
After the dispute, Martin left the scene taking a child, his biological son, despite not having custodial rights.
Martin stands accused of the following charges:
- Aggravated Assault
- Kidnapping
- Cruelty to Children 1st Degree (2 counts)
- Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree (2 counts)
- Theft by Taking
- Battery
- Cruelty to Animals
The Floyd County Police Department stated that an investigation is ongoing.
