A busy agenda for Rome City Commissioners when they hold their final meeting of 2023 on Monday.
The commission will conduct the yearly evaluation for the city manager during an executive session.
During the regular meeting, commissioners will consider a resolution to adopt the five-year comprehensive plan and set solid waste collection fees.
Second reading of the proposed 2024 draft budgets will also be conducted.
A public hearing regarding a rezoning request for a proposed hemp-growing facility on Center Street is also on the agenda.
The application comes to the city commission from the planning commission with a unanimous recommendation to approve.
The city commission meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with the caucus starting at 5.
