The Floyd County Board of Education will recognize exemplary students and employees when it meets on Monday.
They include:
- QuestBridge Scholarship to Brown University – Alex Yates Armuchee High School
- Sophomore Student Advisory Team
- Employees of the Month
- Pepperell High School Football Team – Final 4
The school board will also receive a facilities update, approve the financial reports, and consider any changes in personnel.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the central office on Riverside Parkway.
First reading of policies regarding public participation and student transportation management are also on the agenda.
Prior to the meeting, at 5:30, there will be a presentation of the Founding Documents with the Etowah Republican Assembly.
