Qualifying for the November 4 Municipal Elections has concluded, and five candidates are running for the Rome City Commission, while nine have signed up to run for the Rome City School Board.
For City Commission in Ward Two, the candidates are Elaina Beeman, Jamie Doss, Jill Fisher, Vic Hixon, and Randy Quick.
Beeman, Doss, and Quick are the incumbents.
The top three vote-getters will be elected.

The eight candidates for the school board are Toni Blanchard, Brenda Boyd, Pascha Burge, Will Byington, Faith Collins, Marquita Davis, Karl Gyden, Alvin Jackson, and Ron Roach.
Blanchard, Burge, Byington, Collins, and Jackson are the incumbents.
The top seven vote-getters will be elected.
