-Georgia State Patrol-
The Georgia State Patrol has released information regarding a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon that closed Highway 411 near Hardin Bridge Road in Bartow County.
According to the GSP:
At around 2:25 p.m., a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van was traveling westbound when it struck the rear of a white box truck.
The crash initially resulted in the closure of all lanes of the highway.
The eastbound lanes were later reopened; however, the westbound lanes remained blocked until approximately 4:14 p.m.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van sustained serious injuries and was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
