A traffic stop leads to the arrest of a Cave Spring man on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
A Georgia State Trooper clocked a vehicle going 71 in a 55-mile-per-hour zone on Highway 411 at Hine Road.
The vehicle did not have an operating taillight on the driver’s side.
48-year-old Joshua Kent Casey was then arrested on charges of possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
He is also charged with speeding, driving without insurance, driving with suspended registration, a taillight violation, and a probation violation.
