The Rome-Floyd County Development Authority will discuss the Battey Business Center and other agenda items when it meets on Tuesday.
The Battey site, which is the former Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital property in West Rome, is now GRAD certified.
The Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development Certification program establishes a portfolio of pre-qualified industrial sites across Georgia that are “shovel-ready.”
The sites must be approved by a board of public and private economic development professionals based on set criteria and due diligence qualifications.
Last week, it was announced that a data center project proposed for the complex had been withdrawn by Atlas Development.
The authority will get an update during the meeting.
The election of a chair, vice-chair and secretary/treasurer is also on the agenda for the meeting, which begins at 9 a.m. at the Rome-Floyd County Development Authority office at 800 Broad Street, Suite 102.
