Man charged with possession of fentanyl, cocaine
The execution of a search warrant at a residence on Olmstead Street ended with the arrest of an East Rome man on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
34-year-old Tevin Jamar Wilson was found with fentanyl, cocaine, and less than an ounce of marijuana, along with digital scales and a glass smoking device.
Wilson is charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects, and a probation violation.
Man charged with possession of fentanyl
A North Rome man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with possession of fentanyl.
According to the warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
41-year-old Adrian Adonis Smith was found with suspected fentanyl while at a local hospital on May 26.
Then on September 10, he told law enforcement officers that his name was “Bobby Smith.”
He is also charged with possession of drugs not in the original container and giving a false name or date of birth.
Two charged with meth possession
A Kingston woman and a Dalton man were booked into the Floyd County Jail late last week on charges of possession of methamphetamine.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
49-year-old Melissa Ann Akins and 60-year-old Jeffrey Allen Hughes were both found with suspected meth at a location on Old Dalton Road.
