Four arrested on Moran Lake Road on drug charges
Three people were arrested during a drug bust on Moran Lake Road on Sunday morning.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers confiscated over two pounds of marijuana, scales, and packaging materials.
28-year-old Destiny Lightning, 41-year-old Shauntay Hames, and 32-year-old Jamie Michael Cooper are all charged with felony possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
Hames and Cooper are additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Woman accused of threatening to “Shoot up” home
A West Rome woman is facing a felony count of terroristic threats and acts following her arrest on Friday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
33-year-old Andrika Latrice Waddell threatened to shoot up a woman’s home on Brookwood Avenue.
Woman accused of stealing from a disabled person
An East Rome woman has been arrested on felony warrants charging her with financial transaction card fraud and exploitation of a disabled person.
According to the warrants:
30-year-old Ja’Kyra Monet Edmondson transferred $4,000 from the victim’s account using Cash App.
The victim has been confined to a wheelchair since birth.
