Halloween wasn’t the only event celebrated this weekend, as Schnauzerfest hit the streets of Rome.
Starting on Friday with a Bar-Be-Que and moving into Saturday with events and vendors, the event was a celebration of all things Schnauzer.
Saturday’s festivities began with vendors at The Forum in downtown Rome. Events began in the afternoon, with different dogs showing off their talents.
After the events at The Forum, people lined up in costumes with their dogs and paraded down Broad Street.
Schnauzerfest is an event that was started 7 years ago by Rome local Hugh Tyner, who says that Schnauzers are his passion.
