Floyd County Public Works is currently in the process of closing a portion of Little Texas Valley Road and the iron bridge over Armuchee Creek.
The closure will be from now until further notice, and is due to damage to the bridge deck surface that has become a hazard to motorists.
The closure will be from the fire station at 90 Little Texas Valley Road to Scenic Road.
The detour will be Scenic Road, traveling both to and from Highway 27 North.
