A Dallas, Georgia, man died following a boat accident on Lake Allatoona Friday night.The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Patrick Ramsey.
According to reports, wardens with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources responded to Allatoona Landing in Bartow County around 9:24 p.m. after receiving reports of the crash.
After arriving on scene, wardens discovered a boat that had struck a breakwater.
Officials say Ramsey was the operator and sole occupant of the boat.
He was deceased when they arrived at the scene.
According to reports, the cause of the crash has not been released as the investigation is ongoing.
