Man charged with terroristic threats and acts
A 21-year-old Rome man was arrested on Wednesday following a domestic altercation on East 14th Street.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Jose Manuel Contreras Jr. broke a woman’s windshield and shoved her.
He also made a threat of violence.
Contreras and the victim live together and have a child.
He is charged with terroristic threats and acts, battery, and criminal trespass.
Man accused of having fraudulent IDs
A West Rome man has been arrested on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with possession of a fraudulent identification document.
According to the warrant:
During a police interview, 40-year-old Sofonias Perez-Morales admitted ownership of several seized, state-issued identification cards from Georgia and Alabama, along with a Social Security card.
