Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers executed a search warrant at a home on East Glover Street and arrested a Rome man on a cocaine trafficking charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
23-year-old Tavarian Dequan Jackson was found with over 30 grams of crack cocaine, several Percocet pills, several alprazolam pills, a small amount of marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials, and a firearm.
In addition to trafficking, Jackson is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of controlled substances with the intent to distribute, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
