Woman arrested on drug charges
A Kingston woman is facing drug charges following her arrest at her Dublin Circle home.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
40-year-old Leitha Mae Conley was in possession of a substance she stated was “meth,” along with 19 lorazepam pills, three alprazolam pills, two oxycodone pills, one clonazepam pill, and a small amount of marijuana.
The pills were not in the original containers.
Conley is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule II and IV controlled substances, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and possession of drugs not in the original container.
Man charged with neglect of a disabled person
A Kingston man was arrested following a traffic stop on Highway 411 at Chateau Drive over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
23-year-old William Anthony Clay was seen turning onto Dean Avenue from East 19th Street in a reckless manner.
During the stop, Clay was found to have a suspended license and was suspected of driving under the influence.
Once at the jail, he was found with two THC vape pens and marijuana.
While doing a welfare check on Clay’s aunt, who is disabled, it was discovered that he took her cell phone, which is her only means of communication, and her truck.
Clay is charged with neglect of a disabled adult, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of drugs by an inmate, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and reckless driving.
