The Rome Board of Education will consider the approval OF the tentative 2026-2027 fiscal year budget when it meets on Tuesday.
The budget totals $105,455,130, and includes a projected beginning balance on July 1 of $18.5 million.
Revenues include a $32,000,000 appropriation from the City of Rome and a 53,535,130 allocation from the State of Georgia.

Also on Tuesday, the school board will consider the approval of eight policy revisions.
Another 19 policy revisions will go on to first reading.
The meeting will be held at the new Rome Middle School at 200 Three Rivers Drive.
The caucus begins at 4 p.m. with the regular meeting starting at 5:45 p.m.
