Another arrest has been made in connection with a shooting near Banty Jones Park in April in which a child was struck by gunfire.
According to the arrest warrants:
18-year-old Isaiah Imari Curtis North, of Rome, fired multiple times into a crowd of people.
The shots were intended for rival gang members, but North shot a 6-year-old child in the leg instead.
North is a purported member of The Bloods criminal street gang.
He is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, drive-by shooting, association with a criminal street gang, and violation of the Georgia Criminal Street Gang Act.
17-year-old Tydarius Arthur McClure was arrested in the shooting back in April.
A third suspect who was being sought, a 16-year-old juvenile, was killed in a shooting on July 4 in Atlanta.
