Autavious Trevon Macon was found hidden in a gas station next to the workplace of someone with a protection order against Macon.
The offense occurred on the 23rd.
Woman Charged with Theft by Taking a Motor Vehicle
A woman was arrested on North Broad Street on charges of theft by taking a motor vehicle.
According to Floyd County Jail Records:
30 year old Shae Nichole Jackson was arrested after being caught in possession of a grey 2017 Chevy Malibu after taking it without authority or permission. The car was valued at around $17,000.
Jackson was arrested on the 23rd.
Woman Charged with Elder Abuse after Knocking 78 Year Old Woman
A woman was charged after arrest in South Rome for elder abuse.
According to Floyd County Jail Records:
Michelle Leigh Morris, a 46 year old woman, was arrested after charging a 78 year old woman and pushing her.
The offense occurred on the 23rd.
Man Charged with Possession of Marijuana, Stalking, and Crossing a Guard Line
A Man was arrested in South Rome on charges of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, stalking, a probation violation, and for crossing a guard line.
According to Floyd County Jail Records:
Nicholas Julian Arrant was arrested on the 23rd after following the victim to her job and calling the police in an attempt to harass and intimidate her. The victim and accused lived together at the time of the incident. After being brought into he Floyd County Jail for stalking, Arrant illegally crossed the guard line at the Floyd County Jail while in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
Nicholas Julian Arrant was arrested on the 23rd.
Man Charged with Cruelty to Animals after Shooting a Man and His Dog with a Pellet Gun
A man was arrested on Shorter Ave for battery, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and for shooting a pellet gun at a man and his dog.
According to Floyd County Jail Records:
Daniel Bernard Washington was arrested on Shorter Avenue when he caused substantial physical harm to a man and his dog by firing a pellet gun at them. Washington was also found to be in possession of what was suspected to be marijuana.
The offense occurred on the 24th early in the morning.
