Suspect in gang initiation also facing drug charges

A South Rome man arrested earlier this week in a gang initiation on Moran Lake Road in May is facing additional charges of felony possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

25-year-old Tiquez Desean Sams was in possession of over three ounces of marijuana, packaged for resale, while at a location on Shorter Avenue at Tamassee Lane back on May 29.
