-Floyd County Jail records-
A Rome man is facing charges following a stabbing incident at his Tumlin Drive residence.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
38-year-old Matthew Dillon Lane admitted to stabbing the 39-year-old man and claimed he was defending himself.
As he was being put into handcuffs, Lane called 911 to say he was being detained illegally.
Lane is charged with aggravated assault and unlawful conduct during a 911 call.
